Changes to our Data Privacy Notices

25 May 2018

A new piece of legislation on data privacy, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), came into effect today (25 May 2018).

The GDPR gives people more control over how companies and organisations use their personal information. This means you have a right to know:

  • what kind of information is being collected
  • how it may be used
  • when it may need to be shared.

Because of the change, the Trustees of the C & J Clark Pension Fund and the Clarks Flexible Pension Scheme have updated their Data Privacy Notices to set out how they will handle your data in the future. These Privacy Notices have been added to the respective schemes’ libraries on this website.

No action is needed on your part, but we recommend that you read through the Privacy Notice for your scheme and make sure that you understand it.
