Why don’t I get a payslip every month?

In an effort to save money and reduce paper and fuel waste, we stopped sending a payslip every time a pension payment is made. At present, a payslip is only sent out if one or more of the following changes:

1. a change in your net pay of more than £1.00
2. a change in your tax code or tax basis
3. a change in your bank details
4. a change in your personal details (e.g. change of name/address)

Who do I contact if I have a question about the payment of my pension?

Jackie Amos and Sarah Masters look after the pensioner payroll.

Who do I contact if I want to update my address?

Please call Sarah Masters or Sharon Coles in the Pensions Department. You can also print off a change of address form here and send it to us.

I have a question about the tax taken off my pension. Who do I contact?

The Pensions Department cannot help you with questions about your tax. Please contact the Tax Office on 0300 200 3200, quoting reference 794/BC8.

Why wasn’t I invited to a pensioner Christmas party?

To be eligible for a party invite, you have to have left the Company on immediate pension, have completed 10 years’ Company service and have reached age 66.

Pensioners who have not responded or who have declined the invitation for a number of years will not automatically be invited in future years.
